Bonjour à tous! In this class, we’ll craft a delectable French-infused menu that honors tradition while exploring innovative combinations. Our main course is a “Burger de Saumon avec Pain de Portobello” — a Salmon Burger served on a Portobello Mushroom Bun. You’ll learn how to prepare a succulent salmon patty, seasoned with fresh herbs de Provence, Dijon mustard, and a hint of lemon zest. The star of this dish, however, is the “bun”. You’ll prepare and grill thick, meaty Portobell0 mushrooms to perfection, offering a gluten-free and deliciously savory alternative to traditional bread. The dish is garnished with fresh greens, a light tarragon aioli, and a side of pommes frites for a complete Parisian bistro experience.

After mastering the main course, we will then turn our attention to a beloved French dessert — “Crème Brûlée.” Learn how to create this rich, creamy custard base infused with vanilla beans, and experience the thrill of caramelizing the sugary top layer with a blowtorch to achieve that satisfying, crackly shell. This dessert is an exercise in contrasts — cool and warm, soft and hard, sweet and slightly bitter — and the perfect way to end our gastronomic adventure.
